Upcoming Events: Updated 4.21.2011

  • I finally got a place to do the carwash!!!! YAY!!! It will be on April 30th, 2011 at the Tukwila Les Schwab Tire Store. I'll be there at 10:30 AM, getting the hose and buckets ready!! YEAH!!!

  •  At a bit of a lull in the fundraising activities part. I am awaiting the verdict of a grant that I applied for through the UW Newman Center. (Crossing my fingers!)
  • And now, with the trouble I've been getting for setting up a carwash, I'm thinking about going door-to-door to ask for sponsorships and donations. I hope people will be receptive! :)
  • I'll take any other ideas!!!

  •   Apparently Sam's Club won't do carwashes anymore due to restrictions set by the city of Renton. I will call other places! Anyone else have ideas???
  • Date is scheduled! 4.3.2011 (Had to switch from 3.20 date)
I will be at St. James Cathedral in the Cathedral Hall after all 3 morning Masses speaking with parishioners about my program and hopefully get some donations and sponsorships! :)

  • May 8th, 2011:
I will be running the KIRKLAND Half Marathon! This will be my 2nd Half and 5th race overall. I am hoping to find donors and sponsors for each mile I complete! Wanna join me? :) Kirkland Half Marathon
